Global citizens experience cultural freedomthey draw from their home culture but they also absorb experiences from many cultures and backgrounds. They are not cultural tourists who just travel the world and go shopping. They embrace discomfort and immerse themselves in different cultures. The journey to become a global citizen often includes personal sacrifice and pain. They look beyond stereotypes, and they dont talk about diversity. Instead, they manifest the change they want to appear within the world.

She is willing to step out of her comfort zone since it is the comfort zone that is too restricting and suffocating. She is excited to step into the unknown and take a chance. This attitude sometimes presents challenges but it is in these situations she finds breakthroughs to transform. The excitement of discovering her passion for the world makes the pains worth it.
