The children of GPS Doodh Bowli-II school designed an activity to raise awareness about reducing the use of polythene in their community. They felt that excessive polythene was harming the environment and their health. The children created charts and diagrams displaying the problems with polythene and encouraging its reduction. They then went into the community and local shops to educate people about the issues with polythene and asked them to use cloth bags instead to help keep the environment clean. The children were happy with the success of their activity in spreading awareness about this important issue.
