This document summarizes a product prototype that uses radio frequency identification (RFI) technology. The prototype can track ridership, student attendance, manage assets, control access, enable cafeteria payments, and handle emergencies. It identifies and tracks assets and controls access points using RFI. Potential customers expressed interest in the asset management features but some requested a proof of concept due to concerns about cost compared to barcode-based solutions. Most customers were decision makers at nursery, primary, secondary, or university schools.
