Halda Valley Tea Company Ltd. is one of the largest tea estates in Bangladesh, located in Chittagong. Some key details: - The estate was established in 2003 and covers 635 hectares, with 380 hectares under tea cultivation. - It is the highest yielding garden in Bangladesh, planting around 10 million clones annually of the popular BT-2 variety. - The estate benefits from high and consistent rainfall of 94 inches annually, at an elevation of 9 meters above sea level. - These ideal climatic conditions allow Halda Valley to produce high quality tea.
