Student Movement for Real Change (SMRC) hosted two mobile HIV/AIDS testing events in Kenya to raise awareness and test community members for HIV/AIDS. During health workshops, SMRC staff found most people did not know about HIV/AIDS or their status. A local youth group mobilized the community and performed skits and songs to spread awareness. In total, 332 people attended the two events where 131 were tested in partnership with various health organizations.

In partnership with the Ministry of Health, World Vision and Youth Alive, SMRC hosted two mobile Voluntary Counseling and Testing (VCT) days in October and November 2008. In total 332 people came to the events and the counselors tested 131 people.
