Sudan's current stance is called pre-primary stage. Sudan do lack the integrated infrastructure such the websites, security of the electronic transactions and payment systems. However, it needs much work and organization technically and legislatively.
The study questioned the issue of whether current legislations in Sudan are enough to fill the gap in the electronic work or there is a need for enacting further integrated legislations in this regard.
The study concluded that though the current Sudanese legislations regarding contracting, authentication and jurisdiction can assimilate the ongoing technologies which make them subject to the general provisions regarding concluding contracts and that the usage of information and communications technology is still limited due to the Sudanese economic reasons, but the study affirmed the necessity of enacting new legislations as to on-line contracts in order to provide the required protection for contractors and to enact legislations organizing the question of e-signature, consider the e-writing as the same as handwriting and the acceptance of e-instruments in the issue of authentication and not rejecting them for they concluded electronically.
