Robbie the robot landed on the ice planet Hott to retrieve ice. Upon landing, his saucer was sticky and difficult to control due to the snowy conditions. Hott was covered entirely in snow and ice. Robbie detected a primitive binary life form and communicated with it, discovering it was programmed with feelings of fear, rust, and hunger. Robbie disabled another robot he encountered, a Dalek, which was larger than expected. After retrieving the ice, Robbie hoped his next task would be easier and closer than the ice planet Hott.
