Marketing success today requires far more than delivering leads to sales it requires a full-funnel approach that addresses every stage of the buying journey and sales process. This presentation will highlight specific best practices, habits and proven methods used by modern B2B marketers to increase the measurable impact of their work.
This document provides an overview of key considerations for building and scaling online marketplaces. It discusses the challenges of the early "seeding" stage when attracting both buyers and sellers is difficult. Creating a virtuous cycle of supply and demand is important to reach critical mass. The document also covers business models, metrics, and types of marketplaces like on-demand and community-driven models. Overall it aims to guide readers on the important stages and factors involved in developing a successful marketplace.
The document describes the process of creating a literature glossary for a magazine. The creator used a penguin classics book image with lowered opacity as the background. Keywords were then typed up, placed in alphabetical order, and arranged on the background to look more visually interesting than simple columns. The final glossary maintained the house style and incorporated a font from 1001fonts.com.
I started with a notepad image with reduced opacity and added font text on top to introduce the team. Photos were taken with a Canon 1200D camera and resized to place on the page along with names and jobs. This created a professional looking "Meet the Team" page using consistent styles and high quality photos to inform readers about the magazine staff.
The document describes the editing process for cutting out a photograph using Photoshop. It involves using the Quick Selection Tool to outline the image, which can cut off some details like hair. Inverting the selection cuts out the image but leaves choppy edges. The Refine Mask tool allows smoothing the edges by feathering, adjusting contrast and radius to remove choppiness and bring back any details lost from the initial selection.
This document describes the process of creating an advertisement for the play "Much Ado About Nothing." The designer started by combining colored shapes to create a design. They experimented with different color palettes before deciding on pinks and purples, as courting is a key theme in the play. Images were then placed and adjusted to fit the colored boxes, and fonts from 1001fonts.com were used. After moving images around, the final design was achieved. Text was added at the bottom with character information and performance dates, completing the advertisement.
I began creating the front cover of my extended project by placing an image of Kay on a white background. I then added books behind Kay as the background but kept a white border around the photo. Using a font website, I chose black text and added a white swirl, placing the title and tagline on Kay's image with a glow effect to make it stand out on the background.
This document describes the steps taken to create an English language glossary page. The creator started by adding a book image to Photoshop and adjusting its opacity. Next, a title was chosen from 1001fonts and placed over the image. Finally, definitions were added to complete the glossary page.
This document describes the process of creating an advertisement for the film Pride and Prejudice. The creator took a photo and resized it in Photoshop as the background. Then a cutout photo of actors from the film was placed on top. Finally, the title of the film was added using a font from 1001fonts.com along with a quote and the release date.

The document summarizes techniques used in the trailer for the film "The Strangers". It begins with showing the film's rating of 15 by the BBFC. It then shows the opening logos of the production companies. The mise-en-scene initially portrays a happy couple at a house, but then a disruption occurs as strange noises are heard outside. A text card informs viewers the film was "inspired by true events", creating a scary atmosphere by implying it could actually happen. Fast cuts of short scenes at the end build tension until a climactic final scare is shown.
This document discusses the conventions of horror movie trailers. It explains that trailers are designed to promote films in a visual way by showing exciting clips out of chronological order. There are two main types of trailers - teaser trailers that are short and released early during filming, and longer theatrical trailers released later. Effective horror trailers use shots from the film with dialogue or voiceover to set the scene, dramatic music to create atmosphere, text cards for information or atmosphere, and end with a scare to leave viewers wanting more. The structure of trailers shows an initial equilibrium, a disruption of events, but does not reveal the final resolution to avoid spoilers.
The document discusses changes made to a film trailer based on audience feedback. The filmmaker received feedback telling them to add some handheld camera shots while filming in a library. They also changed lighting on some shots and altered a flash transition to a dissolve based on suggestions. Getting feedback during the process allowed the filmmaker to improve the trailer's effectiveness at advertising the film. They added a scream sound effect to the final killer shot in the trailer as feedback indicated. The filmmaker chose the song "Tiptoe Through the Tulips" to build tension at the end of the trailer, as it was used in a famous horror film scene.
Audience feedback helped the author improve their media products by allowing input from their target demographic. They constructed a trailer, poster, and magazine cover then received feedback, which highlighted that the matching color schemes, images used, focus on main characters, and trailer structure were most effective. Receiving this feedback made the products more appealing to their intended audience.
The document summarizes the process of creating a horror trailer and poster for a media project. Key points include:
- The trailer follows horror conventions like starting with a happy scene then introducing disruption. It uses short clips out of order to build intrigue without revealing the full narrative.
- Research on existing trailers informed choices like including a final scare and using a masked killer for mystery.
- The poster features a dark image, red title, credits font, and slogan to draw in audiences, representing Barthes' enigma code theory.
- Non-diegetic music shifts from slow to sharp to intense, mirroring changes in the trailer's narrative structure.
The document summarizes the research and planning Laura Bruce did to create a horror trailer, poster, and magazine cover for a film project. Some key points:

The document discusses what the author has learned about new technologies from creating a magazine product. They gained new skills in Photoshop like using the lasso tool more efficiently. For layouts, the author learned basic InDesign skills such as changing fonts and inserting images. The author also gained experience using Blogger by uploading frequent blog posts. Additionally, the author learned how to create and share presentations on sites like 際際滷Share, Emaze and Prezi by linking them to posts on their blog.
The document summarizes how the student's media product uses conventions of real music magazines. Some key conventions included are:
1) A banner across the top with the names of bands, which is common in magazines like Kerrang.
2) A masthead with the magazine title in a distressed font to look grunge, similar to the style model magazine Q.
3) Storylines justified down the margin and separated by boxes, like the style model.
4) A beautiful woman as the main image on the cover to attract readers, as is common for magazines to do according to Naomi Wolf's theory.
5) A quotation above the main story to encourage readers to learn more.
The target audience for the media product is males and females aged 15-27 who enjoy alternative music, attending concerts, and playing instruments like guitar and drums. The primary audience is 15-22 year olds who buy rock music magazines to get updates on bands and upcoming concerts. The secondary audience of 23-27 year olds also likes to attend music festivals.
The article provides an introduction at the start to give readers insight into what the article will be about, following a typical magazine convention. It discusses including an introduction at the beginning of the article to outline for the audience the topic that will be covered. The introduction is used to give a small preview of the content.
The document summarizes the key design elements of a music magazine cover the author created, comparing it to their style model magazine. Some similar features between their cover and style model include a black banner with white text across the top listing bands, and a red masthead box with white text font, though different fonts were used. Storylines are justified down the margin like the style model. Images and text elements are used and formatted similarly to attract readers' attention as in typical music magazine covers.
The document summarizes the creation of a double page article layout. The author inserted a medium shot of the subject wearing a blue dress to match the color scheme. The model is standing and smiling directly at the camera to engage the audience. At the bottom right, a quotation from the article is included in blue boxes with the word "never" in black and capital letters to make it stand out and intrigue readers to learn more.
The student changed the masthead on the contents page to match the updated front cover masthead. They also redesigned the "contents" banner using a style from Q magazine as inspiration. This was done to make the contents page layout look more professional.
The artist created a magazine cover using a text font from 1001 fonts for the article title to make it stand out. She made the artist's name larger than the rest of the text to catch the reader's eye first. She also added the quotation "I would never work for that man again!" from the article to intrigue readers and make them want to buy the magazine to learn more.
The document discusses changes made to a magazine cover design. The designer changed the magazine title from black writing in a red box to white writing in a red box to make it stand out better against the black banner. The background was also changed from a solid color to a white/grey gradient to make the page more interesting while still working well with the style model chosen.
Laura Bruce cut out and masked two additional pictures for her contents page like she did with the first image. She added a picture of the person featured on the cover as she is most important for this month's magazine issue. She also included a picture of another person who will be in the magazine. Both new images were placed in white boxes matching the first image.
The document presents the results of a questionnaire on music genres and color scheme preferences. It shows that R&B, rock, and pop were the most popular music genres selected, and that dark colors like black and grey were the most preferred color scheme over bright and pastel colors.
Laura Bruce cut out and masked two additional pictures for her contents page like she did with the first image. She added a picture of the person featured on the cover as she is most important for this month's magazine issue. She also included a picture of another person who will be in the magazine. Both new images were placed in white boxes matching the first image.
Laura Bruce copied an image onto her contents page and added a white box behind it as the background. She then placed a small white box on top of the image to add the band name "Misfit Red" and page number "42" using a font from 1001 fonts. She also separated this information with a small black rectangular box. She created a "features" banner and placed remaining text to the left of the image. The contents page uses a red, black, and white color scheme to match the magazine cover and keep within the house style colors.

Blind Spots in AI and Formulation Science Knowledge Pyramid (Updated Perspect...Ajaz Hussain
油
This presentation delves into the systemic blind spots within pharmaceutical science and regulatory systems, emphasizing the significance of "inactive ingredients" and their influence on therapeutic equivalence. These blind spots, indicative of normalized systemic failures, go beyond mere chance occurrences and are ingrained deeply enough to compromise decision-making processes and erode trust.
Historical instances like the 1938 FD&C Act and the Generic Drug Scandals underscore how crisis-triggered reforms often fail to address the fundamental issues, perpetuating inefficiencies and hazards.
The narrative advocates a shift from reactive crisis management to proactive, adaptable systems prioritizing continuous enhancement. Key hurdles involve challenging outdated assumptions regarding bioavailability, inadequately funded research ventures, and the impact of vague language in regulatory frameworks.
The rise of large language models (LLMs) presents promising solutions, albeit with accompanying risks necessitating thorough validation and seamless integration.
Tackling these blind spots demands a holistic approach, embracing adaptive learning and a steadfast commitment to self-improvement. By nurturing curiosity, refining regulatory terminology, and judiciously harnessing new technologies, the pharmaceutical sector can progress towards better public health service delivery and ensure the safety, efficacy, and real-world impact of drug products.
