Also assisted the team as an English-Mandarin translator. Over the course of 4 years in training for the Oil & Gas Industry, had trained countless of young engineers from countries like Russia, Khazakhstan, Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia and also the local technicians from companies like Exxon, Shell, Evonik, JAC etc.. Successfully conducted WSQ courses for the local students from Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Singapore Polytechnic, Temasek Polytechnic and last but not least, Institute of Technical Education (ITE). PEC Ltd. In 2010, was the Project Engineer for 12 Heat Exchanger Re-tubing work in a kerosene distillation plant for Singapore’s one and only Chemical Process Technology Centre, Jurong Island. Upon successful tender bidding, managed to plan, coordinate and supervise the entire project smoothly and had led a team of experienced workers and subcontractors to perform bundle pulling, lifting, blinding, painting, insulation installation, hydro jetting and hydro testing. In 2008, was the Project Engineer for a major plant construction project, Ethylene Cracker Complex (ECC), in Pulau Ular with Shell Eastern Petroleum (Pte) Ltd (client). Managed to capture all weld joint discrepancies across different isometric drawings which shed light to the problem of assessing the actual work progress, resulting in proper claims to the client.
