To address this issue and help reduce pollution and global warming, she created a project to educate fellow students on proper waste management. Her goal was to teach waste segregation.
She placed labeled sacks around the school for different waste types. An orientation was held to instruct students. As a result, students began properly separating waste into the correct sacks. People often litter without thinking about the health and environmental consequences. Improper waste disposal leads to pollution and harms humanity. There is a need for education on proper waste segregation to help reduce expenses that can be used for community development instead. A student organized a seminar and trash bin project at their school to teach about the dangers of pollution and how to properly dispose of waste to help create a safer environment. They invited a speaker, held an orientation, and launched segregated trash bins around campus that have made a positive difference through increased awareness.

- 4. The Goal In my own little way, I have decided that, I should start by simply cleaning a part of our Barangays Ground. That somehow, I Jesse Mae Caceres, a Third Year Student of KNHS Tanauan, Leyte would start a humble step of cleaning and clearing the said area. And with my actions, somehow this would be copied or would be imitated by other people and together, this will make a difference.

- 8. The Step By Step Planning 1. The said Cleaning Activity was planned, because we were terrified of snakes that might be sheltering on this vacant lot in our Barangay. 2. Because of this TAG Project I have encouraged my family to help me with it and that somehow we will also benefit to what we will be doing, in this area since this place is also at the back of our house. 3. October 30, 2012 Tuesday, was the day we are all free from our work since it was our School SemBreak, we decided to work together for these said cause. 4. I asked my Parents if we could also plant some root crops such as; sweet potatos camote, or other vegetative plants to maintain the tidiness of this area and at the same time we could utilize the fruits or the vegetables to be our food in our table.
- 9. The Result After all the tiresome day of cleaning, I was humbled that somehow I have done a bit to start something good and that it was special because it was done with the help of my whole family and friends.
