Jobu's Place bar underwent construction over several weeks. Volunteers worked to form and pour concrete bar tops weighing over 250 pounds, set up lighting by embedding glass rounds in aluminum tubes, and add decorative bamboo elements like snack trays. Upon completion, the bar featured LED lights embedded in the concrete tops and was ready to serve customers in tribute to Jobu.

to aluminum tubes set in the forms. Concrete was
poured around them.

Work continues on the bar. Setting the
supports for the heavy bar tops. The long one
weighed over 250 pounds!

Time for bamboo. Cut, split, drill, nail, repeat.
