Bats have mammal bones like other mammals but their bones are adapted for flight. While bats and birds both fly, bats do not share the same bones as birds and instead have their own unique bone structure suited for their flying abilities. The student wrote a report on bat skeletons where they chose a topic, researched online, drafted and edited their writing, and included that bats are nocturnal animals active at night.

This document summarizes research analyzing skeletal remains from the archaeological site of Kellis 2 cemetery in Egypt and clinical specimens from the Smithsonian Institution. The researcher aims to diagnose whether burial B563 from Kellis 2 had anencephaly, a neural tube defect, by comparing its skeletal remains to specimens with known diagnoses. Measurements of B563's bones indicate it was a 30-week fetus. Comparison to skeletal remains of specimens with anencephaly diagnoses suggests B563 likely had meroanencephaly, a form of anencephaly where some brain tissue forms.

Using technology in the classroom is different than integrating technology. Simply using technology, like showing a movie on a projector, means students are learning from the technology rather than with it. True integration involves using technology as a tool for students to construct knowledge. Examples of integrated uses include computers for critical thinking, collaboration, and design, where students learn with the technology rather than being controlled by it. Technologies should support knowledge construction rather than attempt to instruct learners.

Pine Economic Calendar: Short-term inflationary pressuresBanco Pine
油
The IGP-DI general price index for July in Brazil rose sharply to 1.52% above estimates, driven by higher agricultural commodity prices. This is expected to keep inflation indices elevated in the near-term, leading the authors to revise their year-end inflation projections upwards. The IPCA consumer price index for July is also forecast to rise to 5.2% year-over-year due to ongoing pressures from food and other items. While inflation remains a concern, the authors believe prospects are not as worrisome for the central bank compared to previous supply shocks.
