He helped with marketing campaigns at Worldnet Telecommunications and currently works as a telecommunications consultant. He is involved in leadership and community service, delivering speeches at events and volunteering with organizations like Junior Achievement and the National Society of Hispanic MBAs. Jose serves on the board of the Tampa Bay chapter of NSHMBA as the Director of Technology and Social Media.
