The lamia is a female creature of Greek mythology known for seducing humans. They are described as having the upper body of a woman but the lower body and fins of a duck. Lamias were said to be great architects and builders. According to myth, lamias demanded services from humans and would punish those who broke their rules. One story describes a lamia punishing a midwife for taking bread from her home without permission by causing her to lose her gifts and sight.

2) Cloanta transforms the princess and tricks Carlitos into falling in love with her disguise. She then puts a curse on the town that turns the inhabitants into hideous creatures.

- 2. What are they? The lamia is a female creature of mythology. Characterized as scares children and seductive terrible. The "lamias" were known to be great architects, so they built great sculptures and buildings, including the oracle of Eros.
- 3. How are they? The lamias are characterized as seductive girls or women. They do not have feet, they have the feet like a duck, with fins. And they have a long and precious blond hair. And just as the myth tells, the lamias combed their immense hair with a gold comb.As we can see in the picture.They are usually friendly and the only way to infuriate them is to steal their combs.

Myth The lamias demanded various services from humans.As a very famous legend says, the lamias asked a midwife from her neighborhood for a favor.The woman went to the lamias house and she did the job that the lamiak asked to do.The lamiak invited the woman to eat in their house.When the woman saw that the bread was white, she took a little piece and she put it in her bag.When she was about to leave home he could get up from his seat.The lamiak say her that was because she took something that wasn't of her.The woman confessed that she had taken a piece of bread and forced her to leave it on the table, so she was able to get up from her chair. When she was leaving, they warned her: "do not look back on the road". When she get home, with one foot inside and another on the street, he looked back: he instantly lost half of his golden gifts.And she became blind forever.
