An introduction about how you access a range of resources designed to help you get the most from the Learning Resource Centre at Queen Margaret University with a series of tasks on navigating the Library Services website.
Several students transferred from Nassau Community College to Adelphi University, where many played lacrosse together. John English and Travis Wahl transferred as seniors, while Sean McCann and Tim Daly recently graduated. English felt the transition was easy since several of his NCC lacrosse teammates also transferred to Adelphi. The coaches encouraged the new players to use Adelphi's academic resources. Both McCann and English were drawn to Adelphi's Division II lacrosse program and affordable tuition. They found the campus welcoming and supportive of transfers.
Lim Chun Yee is seeking his first engineering job to improve his knowledge and establish a career path in engineering. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from University Tunku Abdul Rahman and relevant work experience, including an internship at Lumileds Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. He is skilled in MS Office applications and CAD software.
From September 2013 a new edition of the Write and Cite guide will be available. The version of Harvard in the new guide will be British Standard Harvard 2010 (BS Harvard 2010). Each room has a few computer terminals and sockets for you to plug your laptop in.
It is not completely silent as you can hear tapping of the keyboards but it is quieter than the Open Access area as no talking or group work is allowed.

Each carrel has desk space, a lamp and a socket for you to plug in your laptop.
The carrels can be booked like the group study rooms via Room Bookings.
