CURRICULUM VITAE Page 2 of 7 Responsibilities & duties: Work as pilot in Suez Canal Authority: Responsible for navigate the vessel safely in arrival or departure ports (Suez or Port Said) and working very closely with the captain while maneuvering the ships and completes the berthing / unberthing operation of the ships by controlling the ship's maneuverability directly and the tugs and shore linesmen through a radio. The pilot acts as the person who advises the captain what route to take and what changes need to be made during ships routine maneuvering while entering or leaving a port or cross the channel to keep the ship safely without any loss. Pilot has to work alongside the ships captain and this is why there has to be a good communication between these two professionals. If there is any miscommunication, it could lead to large scale problems for the ship and the shipping company. Work as General Manager for Marine Company (OML) which carries out the Marine logistics mobilization for project with ADMA (SARB Project PKG # 4 @ Abu Dhabi): Designs and manages the implementation of the departments vision, objectives and business requirements. Provide leadership & support to ensure marine related incidents are fully investigated in accordance with consortium Standards. Develop, test and evaluate new and existing equipment and systems for vessel operations. Make cost effective recommendations to optimize vessel equipment and systems operation, increase performance, safety and reduce cost of operations with define Schedule and costs related to project manager. Ensure the safe operation of each vessel within the fleet, and to provide a link between consortium shore based organization and those on board vessels. Liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyors for certificates of approval (location approvals, approval of transportations, and approval of specific operations). Manage and mitigate the marine risks associated with dredger and AHTS activities through the establishment of sound and robust governance and assurance processes. Assist in the development and/or review of asset risk management plans defining and mitigating offshore/consortium marine risk. Directly responsible for oversight of implementation of the consortium Standards related to Offshore Marine Assurance & Operations within assets. Follow up and supervision of consortium mobilization and demobilization activities. Responsible for the assessment and approval of all 3rd Party Marine Contractors providing assurance and operations support to consortium marine activities within the project. Provide marine expertise in contingency planning and emergency response for consortium marine related activities. Provide leadership & support to ensure marine related incidents are fully investigated in accordance with consortium Standards. Assisting on-hands-on consortium Dredgers moves on client and/or project requirement as needed. Recruited, interviewed and hired Marine coordinator, Radio operator, Masters of vessel and deck officers unlimited Oceans Class licensed, as well as some other offshore individuals as well as reviewed evaluations and promotions programs. Carried out internal / external audits against the ISM Code, ISPS Code and supervised implementation of SMS, PMS, EMS and SSP Carried out the vessel inspections and issue the inspection report with condition assessment surveys. Follow the establishment of Zakum artificial islands and requirements and coordinate between artificial island and clients. Follow up Navigation licenses for all vessels and equipments including logistical requirements of sites like pipelines, earthmoving, equipments, support craft and etc. Supervised weekly crew change over, interview and acceptance of all key personnel, oversaw all onboard personnel and dealt with various governmental agencies with regard to the operation of the vessels and the procurement of permits needed for landing sites. Supervised utilization of shipboard and shore based resources for hull and machinery repairs / overhauls including dry docking of vessels, vessel up-gradation projects and under water repairs. Prepared high risk and special focus vessels for all inspections, Expanded PSC inspections, Class surveys, and CDI inspections with limited time and resource availability and achieved excellent results. Follow up personnel training to obtain necessary certificates as per (STCW requirements).
