Miracles & Magic 2009 Miracles & Magic Details Miracles & Magic is an annual variety-style grand-illusion, magic, comedy and juggling show featuring national and international award-winning performers who come together to provide children with life threatening illnesses a day to remember. The Miracles & Magic event weekend consists of two components: an evening fundraising party and two family friendly matinees. Miracles & Magic: The Opening Act - Friday, April 3 – An evening of exclusive performances featuring up close and interactive illusions, magic and comedy performed by the top talent in the country. Guests will be treated to the finest food, drinks and music hosted in one of Columbus’s hottest nightclubs. Miracles & Magic Matinees - Saturday, April 4 – Each matinee is a full hour and a half long performance featuring three of the nations top acts. This sit-down family variety show is sure to make your stomach ache from laughter and leave you in awe!
- 3. Miracles & Magic 2009 Adventures For Wish Kids is now … A Kid Again Now a statewide organization, Adventures attempted to register the Adventures For Wish Kids name nationwide. Surprisingly, we were denied by the Federal Trademark Office. We had no choice but to change our name. In speaking with our families about what Adventures does for them, their answers were resounding … Adventures For Wish Kids helps every child with a life threatening illness be … a kid again! In 2008, we applied for and were granted the service mark for A Kid Again. Same locations. Same people. Same mission. Same passion. New name. A Kid Again is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides ongoing group activities for children with life threatening illnesses and their families.

Miracles & Magic 2009 The Reason Since 2002, Miracles & Magic has raised over $550,000 for A Kid Again, which provides continuing support and lasting memories for children and adolescents with life threatening illnesses and their families. The event has enabled 1,000 children and their family members a day away from treatments, hospital beds and the stresses of their daily lives providing them with the medicine of laughter and wonderment. The Goal National City, Barbasol, Jon Petz and A Kid Again have teamed together to build this awesome family event into a Columbus tradition and fundraiser while increasing the number of children that are able to attend year after year. In 2009, we plan to provide nearly 500 children and their families the Miracle of normalcy. In 2009, we plan to raise over $170,000 for A Kid Again. To reach our 2009 goal – we need your help!
