History background: Summer Grant Program (MEGA EVENT) Publicity (Brand Awareness) Excursion Trips (Value for Money) Membership Increased to 55 by January 2014 we found similar problems faced by other MTT-S SBC in Delhi section, So we Planned out an idea to Organize Collaborative events. Recently we organized a collaborative event with ASET MTT-S SBC at their place, which boosted their volunteers. AT PRESENT, We have 70 Student Members* & 1 Professional Member IEEE MTT-S MSIT SBC Established in July-2012 With 27 Members But Due to lack of interest, there were only 12 members in January 2013 and by April 2013 strength of Active Members Reduced to 5 We Analyzed and with proper Planning, we Did a Come Back *55 on record at SAMIEEE & 15 new members, joined after Symposium, yet to be registered

- 5. Summer Grant Program Chapter Activities : OUR MEGA EVENT. We got appreciation from NASA and SARA. Its news spread across different IEEE sections of India. A Student Popularization event. 19 Student participated in IEEE MTTS Summer Grant Program, where they worked on: NASA Radio Jove Itty Bitty Telescope Stanford's SID Receiver Sky Fall Meteor Detection *MTTS paid the partial Reimbursement to the teams for their Expenses
- 6. Industrial Visits & TRIPS Chapter Activities : Visit to Microwave Lab, IIT Delhi Visit to Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences *these trips also played an important role in membership development & attracting interest of Students toward MTTS
- 7. We initiated a collaboration event plan with ASET MTT chapter, Organized at their place in 2013, to bring in new liveliness among their MTT volunteers. INDUCTION TO MTTS: An annual convergence *And we plan to hold this activity on yearly basis, involving other student chapters form this year onward Chapter Activities : Speaker: Mrs. Bharathi Prasad ,Vu2RBI
- 8. Introduction to STAR Program 9 Students from MSIT, visited Sunriseville Sr. Secondary School, Noida on 2nd December 2013 . We conducted a 3 hour session, enhanced on what is Engineering... .The session also included a talk on Working of GPS. Chapter Activities : *we are planning to Conduct a 4 week STAR program this year
- 9. MICROWAVE SYMPOSIUM for UnderGraduates Chapter Activities : IEEE MTTS MSIT SBC Initiated this Event for Undergraduate engineering Students. It got quite well response from Students as well as from speakers. There was a series of Talks by Dr. Ananjan Basu, Er. Adesh Kumar Jain, Dr. Karun Rawat, Dr. Rashaunda Henderson. One day Non-Tech Activity for entertainment of Members was also organized , even few Organizing team Coordinators were taken for movie: 300 Returns , a perk given to them. Symposium resulted into increase of 15 new members. * A Talk, A Trip to TCIL, New Delhi & Training on Signal Processing using MATLAB was postponed due to Unavoidable Circumstances in last minutes. We will conduct these remaining parts, with some more add on, in August
- 10. Other Technical Events Chapter Activities : We Organized a two week winter program for members to work upon elementary topics of RF and M/W domains. Quiz Competition in October , 2013 A group of student formed Self Interest Group and Conducts monthly sessions
- 11. Non Technical Events Here, we Constructed a track design MSIT MTTS(logo) for Remote controlled robo-race event at our campus. Orientation For Freshers about IEEE, MTTS, WIE, CS Chapter Activities : Annual Administrative meet Monthly meetings MTTS Co-sponsored Event, welcoming new students to Campus

Section And Regional Participation Chapter Participation : MTTS MSITs Representative attended CCM during APMC 2013 at Seoul, Korea & during IMaRC 2013 at New Delhi Our Students attend Guest Talks during IMaRC 2013, by Prof Ulrich Rohde, Prof. Michael Driscoll, Dr. Ajay Poddar, DR. C. Kudsia, Prof. Vicente Boria, Dr. Goutam Chattopadhyay. Students Attended Workshop Organized by MTTS IIT Delhi SBC on CST Microwave Studio at IIT Delhi Prof. Shiban Koul Awarding MTTS MSIT Chapter Chair with J.K Paul Memorial Award for his Volunteer Contribution to IEEE during AGM, Delhi Section. We also attended other talks organized by MTTS Delhi Chapter. Talk by Dr. Nemai Karmakar , Dr. Jeffrey Pawlan, to name a few.
