Di joined Netball Queensland in August 2013 as the Marketing and Communications Manager. In this role, she led a team that delivered the 2014 Communication Plan, Operational Plan and budget, conducted a sponsorship review to secure new sponsors, managed events like the Annual Awards Dinner, and handled media and marketing for the Firebirds season. Di brought significant contacts from her experience in media, sport, and tourism. She was able to negotiate positive outcomes while achieving business goals. As part of the leadership team, Di contributed to developing strategies to achieve the organization's vision. Unfortunately, Di left in December 2013 when her husband was transferred interstate, but she had made a positive impact in her short time with Netball Queensland.
