LinkedIn users can remove the setting that allows their name and photo to be used in social advertising by following four steps: under their name, click settings and then account to open the sidebar menu, click manage social advertising, uncheck the box to opt out of social advertising, and click save.

- 2. Under your name is a drop-down field called settings click it. This will open the settings menu.
- 3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click Account. A new sidebar menu will open up to the right.
- 4. Click Manage Social Advertising. A pop-up window will appear.
- 5. Uncheck the tick box that reads LinkedIn may use my name, photos in social advertising. Then click Save. OK, ALL DONE!Happy surfing.
