The Ventura Family YMCA organized a swim program called Operation Splash to provide swim lessons and water activities to underserved children in Ventura. They collaborated with local organizations to inform participants and provide swim kits. The program taught swimming strokes, safety, and growth through lessons and games. It was successful and the YMCA plans to continue the program in the future.
