Deception, dishonesty and cheating are the morals behind this folktale. The
delivery style of the morals is light hearted and straight forward. In my opinion, it
makes the piece interesting and fun. I can use this piece in science while studying
sheep. In addition, I could use it in government while studying the judicial system.
I would use the Sheep Herder’s Lawsuit for the middle elementary grades of 3-4.
