Pitch
- 2. Beginning- Anna and Dylan meet up as they havent seen each other in ages. While dating Dylan asks if she has friend who is single as he has a friend called Arun who wants to start dating again. Anna mentioned their friend Rebekah. Dylan showed anna what Arun looks like and gave Rebekah a call as they came up with the idea to set up a blind date. Middle- Arun and Rebekah were up for the blind date so Dylan and Anna organed were they are going to eat and what time they are going to meet up. Rebekah and Arun meet up for their date they start to get to know each other while waiting for their food End- When their food come Rebekah was eating without any table manners and that started to annoy Arun as some of her food come out of her mouth and landed on him. Arun criticized her and she got offended and started giving attitude which than leaded to an argument and Arun storming out the restaurant. Summary

- 4. PURPOSE The purpose of my short film is to showcase my ability of editing and creating a film. The benefit from this I can show my audience my skills this will give me the opportunity to get a feature in the future. I done this because dates are always seem to be romantic and nice to watch however in mine it is very awkward and they do not know when the date is going to end My film is original and is different to media as I watched lots of romantic short films and I come up with my own idea however from watching different short film enabled me create my own style of movie and it being different from the one that are out on YouTube.
- 5. SCREENING If I was to screen my short film it would either be screened on YouTube, or film festivals. From doing this I could get the opportunity to go to a international film festival if chosen. Eg London short film festival, Manchester international festival and Raindance film festival. I am creating this short film so it can be produced on channel 4, if my film was to go to DVD it would be rated either a 12 or 15 as there isn't any swearing, violence or sexual activity.
- 6. DEVELOPMENT My short film could get developed as if it went viral industries could want to pay me to turn my short film into a tv series, feature film or even a comic book
- 7. TARGET AUDIENCE My primary audience will be for females from the age from 15-25. My secondary audience would be for older people from 26-34 who maybe do online dating. I think females would like my film as they could potentially relate to having disaster dates or they like watching romantic stuff in general. The social grade for 15-25 are in the social grade E before Hollyoaks however after Hollyoaks is the channel 4 news which is targeted at elderly people in social grade B which more for formal/professional people.

LEGAL AND ETHICAL When creating my film I need to follow the legal requirements such as copyright I can not play another artist music without their permission if did they have the right to either remove that scene or take it off YouTube completely. I also need to make sure that I do not copy from another short film as film makers can report me for plagiarism. For ethical I need to consider that I do not make any offences towards race and religion as people could get offended as I am doing a romantic film it is also important that I do not make any sexual remarks as women could find this disrespectful. Lastly need to make sure it is appropriate for the audience to watch.
- 10. ANNA Anna is good friends with Rebekah and is with Dylan as they met at Rebekah's birthday party. Anna is from London and lived in the same area as Rebekah she is a makeup artist, and is currently living in Birmingham.
- 11. ARUN Arun is a fraud investigator from Walsall but is currently living in Wolverhampton he is looking for a girl he can bring home to his mother and father as he recently broken up with his girlfriend .
- 12. DYLAN Dylan is a personal trainer from Wolverhampton but currently lives in Birmingham he is good friends with Rebekah as they went to the same secondary school but is friends with Arun as he is dating his cousin.
- 13. REBEKAH Rebekah is a PE teacher from London but currently lives in Wolverhampton. Rebekah is single and is looking for love as she got cheated on by her ex boyfriend.
- 14. LIGHTING PLAN For my lighting plan I will have a candle light lit in the middle of them during the date. Example of how I want my dating scene to look like
