The Five Paragraph Theme follows a specific structure for power sentences. The introduction has no power sentences leading to the thesis statement. The first and last paragraphs each contain a power sentence that restates the thesis in slightly different wording. Body paragraphs begin with a power two sentence providing detail for the thesis, followed by varying patterns of power sentences that tell more details. Power Writing keeps the five paragraph theme orderly and logical by using this consistent numbering structure for sentences within each paragraph.
