Pronouns
What are Pronouns? Pronouns are words used to replace one or more nouns. They are deictic words or words used to denote or relate other words. In this case, they relate other nouns. This make our writing more coherent and less awkward.
Antecedent The antecedent is the noun that is being replaced by the pronoun. It usually comes before, but in most cases also comes after the pronoun. Gabriel  is hungry, but  he  does not like to eat outside  home. The proper noun Gabriel is the antecedent of  he .
Types of Pronouns Personal First Person Singular Plural You Your Yours We Our Ours Us Second Person Singular Plural I Me Mine My You Your Yours Third Person Singular Plural He His Him She Her Hers It Its They Their Theirs Them
Reflexive They are formed by adding  self  or  selves Myself, himself, herself, itself, ourselves, themselves, yourself, yourselves Interrogative Is used to ask a question Which, Who, Whom and Whose
Demonstrative Is used to point our specific person or things This  These That- Those Indefinite Does not refer to a specific or definite person or thing All, another, any, anybody, anyone, anything, both, each, either, either, everybody, everyone, everything, few, many, more, most, much, neither, nobody, none, no one, one, other, several, some, somebody, someone.
To remember A noun is also an closed words. That means that it does not accept the addition of new kind of words. Even if the noun is a new word, its pronoun will always be he, she, it, etc.
