Its the interface connected to Network A Let me talk to him. Hi friend, we both want to be famous. Lets help each other. When you advertise Network A. Tell others about my Network B. When I will advertise Network B, I will tell about Network A to others. As soon a Routing Protocol is activated on an interface. It starts advertising the network on that interface . As soon as the Routing Protocol is activated on the other interface, it starts to think OK buddy..!! I know about Network A: 10.1.1.0/24 And I know about Network B: 10.1.2.0/24 I know about Network A: 10.1.1.0/24 And I know about Network B: 10.1.2.0/24 How does Dynamic Routing work? Remember: Routing Protocol is always configured on the Interface and not on the router.

As soon as the routing protocol is activated on this third interface. It starts thinking, is there any other interface like me on this router?
