The YSPH Virtual Medical Operations Center Briefs (VMOC) were created as a service-learning project by faculty and graduate students at the Yale School of Public Health in response to the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. Each year, the VMOC Briefs are produced by students enrolled in Environmental Health Science Course 581 - Public Health Emergencies: Disaster Planning and Response. These briefs compile diverse information sources including status reports, maps, news articles, and web content into a single, easily digestible document that can be widely shared and used interactively. - 2. OUR SCHOOL Our school is called 束Istituto Comprensivo Valenza A損 and is formed by three lower secondary schools, two primary schools and two nursery schools. Our succursale is a lower secondary school. It has got three floors with 10 classrooms, a lot of laboratories, a pitch and a gym.
- 3. This is our meeting hall. In this room there are courses and meetings for our teachers.
- 4. Language laboratory Here we do a lot of listening activities both in English and French
- 5. ICT LAB We go there to prepare our national test (PROVE INVALSI), and when we work on etwinning projects
- 6. 22/10/2020 On the second floor there is a small library, where we can borrow books for our researches.
- 7. 22/10/2020 ART LAB in this room we paint and draw for our art contest
- 8. The Gym We go there twice a week on Tuesday e Thursday. We play rugby, basketball, volleyball and we also do athletics.
- 9. School pitch We use the school pitch for P.E. lesson when the weather is warm and sunny and also for our incredible science experiments
- 10. 22/10/2020 Our school has a great Orchestra. The instruments played are : violin, guitar, piano and clarinet. They play on many occasions and also for charity events. This orchestra has won a lot of awards.
- 11. We also work on many projects outside the school. For example, we did this activity on a school trip: we created and painted ceramic tiles with which we decorated our school.
- 12. Our headmaster promotes a lot of activities and has many interests - including flowers that he personally takes care of.
