The outcome of the session will be a deeper understanding of the intersection between development of the resource and the connection to legal community. Mr. Interval's will give a brief description of Appalachian geology and PA's position within the basin; explain where the wet to dry gas line is and why economics play a role in where wells are drilled; show examples of production histories from Greene and Fayette counties to date and explain the economic difference between the two; describe and summarize Utica Shale Activity. Dr Goldstein's presentation has two primary goals: 1.to explain in an understandable fashion the basic concepts underlying toxicology, risk assessment, public health and sustainability, including reviewing the relationships among these overlapping conceptual approaches; 2.to relate these concepts to issues concerning Marcellus shale activities.
