- 1. QUESTION 6 What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing your magazine?
- 2. PHOTOSHOP To produce my magazine I had to use a software called Abode Photoshop CS6. Photoshop is in fact a very difficult and time consuming programme to use but with experience and guidance it can be very useful and become easy through practice. There are many tools that I used on the programme but the ones I used the most were. -Colour Range: I used this to tool to delete all the green background that was behind my models in the green room. This tool was very helpful as it just left the models only in the image. -Rectangle Tool: This was something that was really helpful as it allowed me to create borders for my images that had an irregular shape. It also enabled me to create different boxes on my pages giving them such a formal look.
- 3. PREZI Before taking on the media coursework I had never heard of the website Prezi so I didnt have a clue as what it was or how to use it. For this reason I did some research on it beforehand. With a lot of practice I began to get better at using the website effectively and therefore produce productive presentation throughout my blog. I found Prezi really productive and will definitely use it in the future when presenting other things as it makes presentations more interesting.
- 4. WERE ANY OF THE TECHNOLOGIES AN OBSTACLE? I found the software used within the process to be very useful and really educating however using Abode Photoshop CS6 I had to come over a lot of obstacles as some photos taken required more time and attention within the editing process as I wanted that flawless and professional finish within all three pages of my magazine. Also I didnt not use a green screen to take my pictures so therefore the process of editing to longer than normal as the background within the photo was similar to the skin tone of my model and of some of her costume.
