Present Employment Details Presently working as a HOD (General Manager, Electrical) of Maintenance Department since 2005 in John Energy Ltd, a contractor company in onshore drilling and exploration of Hydrocarbon and Gas Compression Services. Current Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for regular & preventive maintenance of Rig Equipment, prompt breakdown maintenance and quick turnaround. New Project planning, design and commissioning. Responsible to execute Electrical PMS activities and update all rig site equipments as well as work shop equipments preventive maintenance program as per ERP PMS plan. Responsible to attend Electrical Break down maintenance and onsite trouble shooting of Rig Equipment in India & Abroad. Responsible to update the electrical equipments to meet safety standards as per OISD, DGMS & API. Responsible for Drilling Rig & Work over Rig project compliance in relation to contract, operators requirements, company standards & international standards. Monitoring and planning for spares & inventory. Responsible to train new Electrical Engineers & Technicians to develop skilled manpower. Co-ordination with OEM regarding Maintenance, Troubleshooting, spares & recertification etc.

Work Experience Independently commissioned 2000HP VFD (CONERTEAM MV3000DRIVE) LTI Hybrid Rig and troubleshoot VFD & DDTD 500LTI Direct Drive TDS Problems. Have Commissioned 5 nos. of AC/SCR 2000HP (DSI Make) Drilling Rig with ECI 900 Tesco Top Drive in 2008 (2 Rigs in India, 2 Rigs in Algeria & 1 Rig in Indonesia). Also have commissioned more than 10 nos. of 1000HP Mobile Mechanical Carrier Rig with Electrical/ Hydraulic Top Drive. Have commissioned 4 nos. of Work Over rig of 50 ton each. Have commissioned 1000HP Mobile Drilling Rig facilitates with 120mtr Skidding system with Electrical Top Drive for Cairn Energy (INDIA) Ltd project at BARMER, Rajasthan. Refurbished and Redesigned Rosshill 1500 HP SCR System and make suitable for Caterpillar 3512-C D.G.Sets which was initially powered by CAT D-399 Mechanical Engines.
