 internship

technician	
 department	
 where	
 he	
 was	
 faced

 array

 Desktops,	
 Networking	
 
Equipment,

 hardware

 able

 diagnose	
 functionality	
 issues	
 and	
 repair	
 
them	
 effectively.	
 	
 Pedro	
 has	
 great	
 capacity	
 to	
 receive	
 instruction,	
 but	
 is	
 also	
 extremely	
 
resourceful	
 in	
 solving	
 problems	
 on	
 his	
 own	
 which	
 enables	
 him	
 to	
 work	
 independently.

 felt	
 confident	
 that	
 when	
 I	
 would	
 present	
 Pedro	
 with	
 tasks	
 and	
 assignments,	
 they

I highly recommend the hiring of Pedro in any capacity. Pedro came to us as an international student and I hired him as part of our internship program. Pedro worked for us for over three months as an intern. At the conclusion of his internship we wanted to hire Pedro as a full-­‐time employee, but were unable to do so as he was required to return to Brazil. Throughout his internship I was able to observe his work ethic, technology skills, problem solving skills and interactions with fellow interns, employees, and supervisors. To date, without reservation, I can say that Pedro was the best intern we have ever had. Pedro consistently arrived on time and always had a smile on his face. It seemed to me that he truly enjoyed his work. He not only was competent at his job, but was a pleasure to be around as a person. We are a technology recommerce company. We receive outdated and broken IT assets, repair them, and get them back into the market. Pedro did his internship in the technician department where he was faced with a wide array of technology. On any given day Pedro was presented with Servers, Laptops, Desktops, Networking Equipment, Apple hardware and others. He was able to diagnose functionality issues and repair them effectively. Pedro has great capacity to receive instruction, but is also extremely resourceful in solving problems on his own which enables him to work independently. I felt confident that when I would present Pedro with tasks and assignments, they would be accomplished in a timely manner with high standards. He was eager to learn new techniques and take on harder projects the other interns shied away from. Pedro is well equipped to from from any challenges that he may encounter. His work ethic, strong knowledge base, and personality prepare him beautifully for employment. He truly was a great intern that I wish was still working for my company. A true asset.
