Recycle-A-thon!

                    Crash Creativy Course

                           Yoleidy Carvajal
                           @yoleidycarvajal
For this assignment we had to create a sport
         using two household items

 Combine trash +
 containers and you
 get:

 Recycle-A-thon!
Why play Recycle-A-thon?
I dont think I should explain why we should recycle,
  right?

Then, lets be honest most people dont enjoy taking
out the trash; they enjoy even less having to separe their
trash mostly because the majority of us have not learned
about recycling until a few years ago. A new habit takes
time to sink in but what about our kids?

If we teach them to recycle by playing a game (or a
sport) then it will become an habit to them.
What do you need to play Recycle-A-thon?

 5 containers one for each
  type of trash: yellow, gray,
  blue, green and brown.

 Trash: balls made of paper,
  glass and plastic bottles,
  organic bags with organic
trash and a bag with non-
  recyclable trash.

 A group of competitive
  children.
How to play Recycle-A-thon?

Draw a circle in an open
  space. The player and the
trash will be placed in the
  center.

 Each container is placed
  around the circle. For
  smaller kids identify each
  container with a picture of
the type of trash they should
  place inside it.
How to play Recycle-A-thon?

Use a stopwatch to determine how
long each kid takes to place the
right type of trash into the right
    container.

When the time starts, each child
will either run from the circle to
    each container carrying as many
items as they can hold or they can
throw the trash to the container
    from the circle.

   The Recycle-A-thon finishes when
the last item has been put in the
    container.
Who wins Recycle-A-thon?

 The child that manages to
  place the largest amount
  of items into the right
  containers.

 The child that places all
  the items in the
  containers faster.

 However, if they learn to
  recycle we all win!
The End
      Thanks for watching!
