Darla Regner is writing a letter of recommendation for Loretta Finder. Regner has many years of experience observing teachers through various roles, including as an Assistant Superintendent and for state and federal programs. She observed Finder for three years on a high-risk campus and found her lessons to always be exemplary, even though the observations were unscheduled. Regner would rank Finder in the top 2% of teachers in management, organization, instruction, curriculum knowledge, and student relationships. Finder consistently earned the highest rating and incentive pay. She also collaborated well with others at the school.

- 1. June 3, 2015 Letter of Recommendationfor LorettaFinder Since 2011, I haveworked with a Federal TIF grant. My role was to observe teachers and administrators and determine incentive pay. Prior to this, I had retired fromRound Rock ISD whereI served as AssistantSuperintendentfor K-12, McNeil High Schooland its feeder schools, and then, following a re-organization, I served as AssistantSuperintendent for Secondary Education. Soon after my retirement I worked for I-Teach Texas, observing teachers and administrators earning alternative certification, and I also worked with TEA through Region XIII as a snapshotvisitor, again observing teachers. I recite all of this with the hope it supports my qualifications to judgeteacher effectiveness. Loretta Finder is a teacher I am happy to endorseand highly recommend to teach in any schoolsetting. I observed her on a high-risk campus for three years and never saw her teach anything other than a superlative lesson. I might add that all of our observations wereunscheduled. I would rank her management, organization, instruction, knowledgeof the curriculum, and relationship with her students in the top 2% of all teachers I have observed over the years. She consistently earned the highest rating on her observations for incentive pay that we awarded. She also worked cooperatively and collaboratively with those around her at all levels on the campus.
