15. “Diemžēl, stereotipi un mīti pastāv. Manuprāt ir divas grupas:
viena kura raksturo zemnieku kā atpalikušu, neizglītotu un
zemniecisku. Un otra grupa ir moderni uzņēmēji, kuri veido
zemnieku sētās ražošanu.”
“Pastāv daudz stereotipu par zemniekiem un lauksamniecību,
kuri balstās uz novecojušu ražošanas sistēmu un vienkāršotu
dzīvesstilu.”
“Domāju, ka masu mediju pārstāvjiem un žurnālistiem ir vairāk
jāstāsta par zemniekiem un lauksaimniecību, tomēr svarīgi ir
radīt objektīvu ainu. Var būt situācijas, kad masu mediji var
radīt subjektīvu vai “stereotipizētu” priekšstatu par zemnieka
tēlu. Īpašs gadījums Austrijā ir – diemžēl – ļoti populārais TV
seriāls ar nosaukumu „Zemnieks meklē sievu” (Bauer such
Frau), kurā ar atlasītu dalībnieku starpniecību tiek mākslīgi
radīti tēli un situācijas, kuras ietekmē priekšstatu par
zemnieku”.
