we revised color naming conventions so ensure the blue pants matched the blue shirts.
n I pushed the team to drive better fit, so that all garments were engineered to pre-set industry standards.
n Eliminated product redundancies and reduced inventory levels by over $50 million.
n I was able to instill in the team a methodology to maximize the use of core fabrics that ARAMARK already owned as well as
key garment patterns, driving sales growth and increasing profit margins with no financial risk.

I was at ARAMARK Uniform Services as VP of Sales and Marketing responsible for the National Accounts organization
from 2001 until 2010. I had the pleasure of working with Jim while he was at ARAMARK. Jim is amazing at what he does!
At first, I had my reservations that any creative leader would be able to make the transition from selling fashion and beauty
to selling uniforms to steel mills and construction workers. I was quickly proven wrong. Jim entirely redesigned our
presentations, updating the quality of the graphics, message and resulting impact. Jims work was fresh, modern and
interesting to ARAMARK customers, resulting in significant sales growth. We, a team of over 500 sales people across the
country, were in desperate need of sales tools that looked modern, distinctive and relevant, yet consistent with our current
branding that would set ARAMARK apart from the competition. Jim was able to blend all of those needs seamlessly and the
results were astounding. The feedback from our entire sales team was extremely positive from the beginning, Jims creative
helped us win more business as a result and for the first time, we could present our brand as a modern contender without
looking like a 1960s Sears and Roebuck catalog. In addition, Jim is a pleasure to work with and will enhance the brand
and messaging of any organization fortunate enough to have him on staff.
