Michelle Spilde has worked hard since she was 13 years old, starting with jobs on a horse ranch and as a babysitter. She currently works as a server at Perkins, a job that has allowed her to support herself since age 16. She is studying social work, psychology, and corrections in college. In 10 years, she hopes to have a family and be working as a social worker helping abused children through child protective services, drawing on her experiences caring for others through previous jobs.
