The Waksman Club involved hands-on experience with genetic lab techniques and procedures, such as PCR,
Gel Electrophoresis and DNA Extraction. We used the BLASTX and BLASTN search engines to code proteins
extracted from duckweed.

Tutoring 50 to 60 students aged 3 to 18 years in the fields of Math and Reading. Involves hands-on teaching and
