Objective
To inspire and serve as a role model to children in achieving fitness and good health; to become
part of the pool of esteemed educators at a well-known high school. To promote physical fitness to the
school and the community; to mentor obese children and to get them into healthy living. As a Physical
Ed teacher I would want to help kids understand how important body mass index (BMI) is and their
chances of being obese. Of course, obesity is a complex condition, and physical activity alone doesn’t
solve it. Therefore, I want to teach the kids to understand that physical activity develops the cognitive,
physical, social and emotional health.

LEADERSHIP
During the last two years I’ve been assisting with the Football team as the Defensive Back Coach.
Being proactive with sports has always been a part of my life. Since I was seven years old, I knew that
I would become an activist in sports. I envisioned coaching sports after I finished my studies in
college. I also have been assisting with the track team as the Long Jump and Huddler Coach. I also
help assist the PE teacher throughout the day. For the last two years, I have been the Employment
Specialist at Wheatley High School.

WHEATLEY HIGH | AUGUST 2016 - PRESENT
Helps life skill students prepare for their long-term employment goals, work history, strengths,
personal culture, justice involvement, and other factor that relate to a current vocational goal.
Completes career profile for each new students with information from the student, mental health
practitioners, and with permission from family members or past employers, update the profile with
each new job and education experience with the parent of the children permission, and provides
education and support to family members about work and gathers input about skills, interests, strengths
of student and ideas for support.

1) Discuss assigned duties with classroom teachers in order to coordinate instructional efforts.
2) Prepare lesson materials, bulletin board displays, exhibits, equipment, and demonstrations.
3) Present subject matter to students under the direction and guidance of teachers, using lectures,
discussions, or supervised role-playing methods.

4) Tutor and assist children individually or in small groups in order to help those master assignments
and to reinforce learning concepts presented by teachers.
5) Supervise students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, school yards, and gymnasiums, or on field
trips.
6) Conduct demonstrations to teach such skills as sports, dancing, and handicrafts
7) Distribute teaching materials such as textbooks, workbooks, papers, and pencils to students.
8) Distribute tests and homework assignments, and collect them when they are completed.
9) Enforce administration policies and rules governing students.

To promote physical fitness to the school and the community; to mentor obese children and to get them into healthy living. As a Physical Ed teacher I would want to help kids understand how important body mass index (BMI) is and their chances of being obese. Of course, obesity is a complex condition, and physical activity alone doesn’t solve it. Therefore, I want to teach the kids to understand that physical activity develops the cognitive, physical, social and emotional health. Being proactive with sports has always been a part of my life. Since I was seven years old, I knew that I would become an activist in sports. I envisioned coaching sports after I finished my studies in college. I also have been assisting with the track team as the Long Jump and Huddler Coach. I also help assist the PE teacher throughout the day. For the last two years, I have been the Employment Specialist at Wheatley High School. Experience SPECIAL EDUCATION EMPLOYMENT REPRESENTATIVE | HOUSTON ISD / WHEATLEY HIGH | AUGUST 2016 - PRESENT Helps life skill students prepare for their long-term employment goals, work history, strengths, personal culture, justice involvement, and other factor that relate to a current vocational goal. Completes career profile for each new students with information from the student, mental health practitioners, and with permission from family members or past employers, update the profile with each new job and education experience with the parent of the children permission, and provides education and support to family members about work and gathers input about skills, interests, strengths of student and ideas for support.
