“Korea on Tuesday protested Japan’s renewed sovereignty claim to the

been rehashed since 2005.”

“The annual defense white paper has slammed recent Chinese actions in
waters around Japan and called on Beijing to follow “international
norms.” (…)The white paper described in detail incursions by Chinese
government ships into Japanese waters, citing 41 such incidents from
September to April. The report accused China of “engaging in dangerous
acts that could give rise to a contingency situation,” such as when a
Chinese naval vessel directed its fire-control radar at a Maritime Self-
Defence Force destroyer in January.”
Ler mais: “White paper slams Chinese sea incursions” (The Yomiuri Shimbun, 9 de
julho de 2013).

vigilance toward China in its national defense white paper for 2013 amid
that country’s recent military buildup and aggressive maritime expansion.
There has been no sign of improvement in strained bilateral relations
since the government nationalized Uotsurijima and two other islets of the
Senkaku Islands last year.”
Ler mais: “White paper stresses China ‘brazenness’” (The Yomiuri Shimbun, 11 de
