 Engineering support on Finite element model creation and analysis on various locomotive
components
 Finite Element Modelling of all the parts, defined contacts, prepared input macro for ANSYS
solver and carried analysis in ansys classic and prepared the detailed report on the obtained
results.

Project handled
1) Finite Element Modelling and Analysis of Traction motor frame head
Position: ANALYSIS ENGINEER
Environment: HYPERMESH , ANSYS CLASSIC (16.0) & HYPERVIEW
Description: The scope of the project is complete FE modelling of Drive End Frame head on traction
motor to check the deformation and stresses on the frame head ribs. Execute the structural response
of the body and made a detailed report on obtained results.
2) Finite Element Modelling and Analysis of Compressor Motor Stator frame
Description: Create the FE modelling & analysis of stator frame on compressor motor to check the
deformation and stresses under various loading conditions. Execute the structural response of the
body and made a detailed report on obtained results.
3) Finite Element Modelling and Analysis of rad fan blade
Description: Build the Finite Element model & run the harmonic analysis on Radiator fan blade to
correlate the amplitude with the field test data obtained using strain gauges. Form a detailed report on
obtained results.
4) Engineering design on Rotor lock
Position: DESIGN & ANALYSIS ENGINEER
Environment: NX-CAD, HYPERMESH , ANSYS CLASSIC (16.0) & HYPERVIEW
Description:
 Design improvisation on the existing rotor lock by preventing the false brinelling on bearing &
prevents the hard stop on speed sensor gear.
 propose new concepts , manufacturing process to make the product good.
 worked on preparing the ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS, DESIGN CALCULATION, TEST PLANS, TEST
RIGS PROPOSAL, Various levels of test, DEFLECTION IN BEARING.

5) Engineering design on GEAR CASE
Position: DESIGN & ANALYSIS ENGINEER
Environment: NX-CAD, HYPERMESH , ANSYS CLASSIC (16.0) & HYPERVIEW
Description:
 Identify the solution for the cracks & oil leakage on the lifting lug area
 Proposed new concepts to avoid the crack & oil leakage.
 Analyse the GEAR CASE to check with the load cases for validating the concept
 Conduct design review for getting approval and progress to next stage for production.
 Make the correct validation plan to execute the project as a component.
 create PPAP to get interaction with the supplier.
 Prepare various test plans & procedures to validate the component.

“Under the idea of vibration in shock absorber with dc stepper motor.we are using the
