- 2. Present Responsibilities: Responsible for smooth operation of the plants and meeting production target in compliance with quality and safety procedures. Supervise daily plant activities in shift, Plant start-ups, shutdown Monitoring and Control of all plant process parameters by DCS Commissioning of DCS, Like DCS loop checking, As per P&ID DCS Graphics Checking. DCS logic checking Log all relevant data relating to the plant operation. Preparation of MIS report. Interface with service departments to coordinate breakdown/routine maintenance work in plants to ensure minimum down time. Planning of different maintenance jobs. Follow up for all maintenance jobs. Handover the lines and equipment by proper isolation and purging. Supervise different emergencies/trouble shooting. Reviews operating data, monitor general operational or maintenance activities in the various sections Hazards identification and job safety analysis for various operational and maintenance activities. Preparation of risk assessment sheet. Identification of occupational hazards. Near miss reporting. Issue of work permit, approval of work order in SAP Review laboratory test results to ensure that products meet specifications and arrange for adjustments to be carried out to maintain quality standards. Reviews and monitors the operating data relating to the production and operation of various operating equipment. Ensure compliance by subordinate personnel with all safety and fire regulations, including the use of protective clothing and equipment. Ensures that good housekeeping and job site clean-up is practiced through out the operating area. Prepares and discusses accidents, incident and near miss reports with Section Head and subordinates in order to avoid recurrence. Attends departmental safety, health and good housekeeping meetings.
