- 1. I THE SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION Andy Dufresne, the young successful vice president of a major bank, finds his life taking a serious detour after his wife and her lover are murdered and the crime get pinned on him. Maybe because he was outside the lover house with a loaded gun the night of the murder. Yeah, not looking good for him. Anyway he’s sent to Shawshank Prison where he’s befriended by some total sweethearts, including a person named Red who eventually becomes his best bud. Red’s a guy who knows how to get things and Andy asks him to get him a rock hammer to collect rocks, He’s always been a geology fan. Red’s glad to oblige. Andy’s also befriended by some guys who are well. Nobody said that prison was easy with his considerable accounting skills. Andy begins helping Warden Norton and the security officers with their taxes and financial issues. Red was one smart chap. He had a third eye rolling up his sleeve wherever there was a chance to get better of people. But this side of Red was not revealed until the reason of his imprisonment. Andy was soon vaulted into the position of teacher’s pet. He gets shown so much favoritism that the guard’s end up having his back, even going so far as to, take care of another inmate who doesn’t seem to take NO for an answer. Red was a charmer of his own. He befriended warden and had an inside angle over matters. He suggested warden to use wits of Andy to assist him with some shady dealings, involving Andy having to launder the warden’s money so that nothing gets traced back to either of them. A financial wizard who knows all the loopholes, Andy launders everything through a Mr. Randall Stevens a completely fictional human being who even has his own social severity card and certificate of birth. Andy tells Red, he was clean as a whistle on the outside, it took being sent to prison to turn him into a crook. Red saw an opportunity and slowly start to mind his own business. Andy has a glimpse of hope when Tommy, a new inmate arrives at the prison, and it turns out he has information that could exonerate his new friend. Red tells warden about it, and is none too keen to release into society someone with so much dirt on him. He has tommy murdered, throws andy into solitary for 2 months and only releases him once he agrees to keep doing his dirty worf. There is time to shut up and time to put up and apparently this was an awfully good time to shut up but red kept giving andy hope to fight warden, it got dangerous for andy when red came to rescue.
- 2. After andy's solitary, red was keen to know that where was he missing, he knew that andy was that smart guy who will get his ways through, but he was still silent. Rather, andy after being 20 years in shawshank never felt like himself. Red went to andy's cell and to his surprise find a tunnel to exit shawshank. It was then revealed that red's mother was imprisoned to save crimes of her husband with young red and shared dream of his husband and died. Red, was burning his heart since the starting in shawshank and his loneliness made him expert in his skill of reading people. At the hour of midnight clock, Red left all is precious belongings and a note of his father's treasure for andy and left shawshank. Once he fled andy somehow made up for his absence and meanwhile warden was exposed. This lead to andy leaving shawshank at the time of frenzy in jail and no record of it was mentioned. Warden and his mate were inspected for their ill-wills and warden, not his police make shot himself to avoid paying for the disguise. THE END
