CONJUGATION = CHANGING THE ENDING OF THE VERB TO MATCH THE SUBJECT. ONLY VERBS CAN BE CONJUGATED.
3 TYPES OF VERBS IN SPANISH -ar -er -ir The unconjugated form of a verb is called an  infinitive .
-ar verbs Drop the -ar and add the following: -o  -amos -as -a  -an
-er and-ir verbs Drop the -er and add the following: -o  -emos*  (-imos for -ir verbs) -es -e  -en
IRREGULAR VERBS Don’t follow normal ending patterns.  IR= TO GO   VOY  VAMOS VAS VA  VAN
HACER-TO DO, TO MAKE HAGO  HACEMOS HACES HACE  HACEN
STEM CHANGING VERBS Many verbs such as almorzar (to eat lunch) have a spelling change  and  conjugation when they are conjugated.  There are several kinds of stem-changing verbs.
DO NOT EVER PUT TWO CONJUGATED VERBS SIDE BY SIDE!
