FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIPS 2. MARGIN OF EXCELLENCE CURRENT $275,000 from annual and endowed funds yielding scholarships for 146 students at an average of $1,884 per student per year. GOAL $5,000,000 endowment producing $200,000 annually in perpetuity to fund scholarships for 71 students at an average of $2,817 per student per year. Along with current scholarships, this would fund 257 students. Research, Scholarship, & Creative Activities Program CURRENT 41 projects funded for 36 students. GOAL $2,000,000 endowment producing $80,000 annually in perpetuity to provide support for 80 projects at $1,000 per award. This would fund a total of 121 projects per year. 4. FUND FOR NEW PALTZ CURRENT $367,212 raised last year with 3.5% alumni participation. GOAL $2,000,000 raised in three years with 20% alumni participation. 3. CRREO Center for Research, Regional Education & Outreach CURRENT 5 program areas advancing the public interest and serving the citizens of New York. GOAL $1,000,000 endowment permanently endows a program area. TOTAL 3-YEAR GOAL = $10 million
