This is a project that I will
present in General
Psychology about “The
Story of My Life”. It
illustrate and inform the
happenings and special
events that happened in
my life from the
beginning until now.
Hope you’ll appreciate.

About Myself
Greetings, I am Melannie Angela P. Lunasin. This present
day, I’m taking Bachelor of Science Major in Human
Biology. To think I live in a simple life but living with a
loving family.
Let me present to you my story...

My Hometown
• I live in
Panamitan, Kawit
in the province of
Cavite. Living
peacefully with
my parents and
together with my
relatives.

Where My Life Begins
The day of October 6, 1998. I was given
birth in “de la Cruz” hospital in Cavite
City.

About
me
• When I was young, I
was a shy little girl.
Dependent but
sometimes I am
responsible. Modest and
sensitive. Until now I got
those characteristic
lingers in me. I am very
helpful towards
household chores. And a
simple child that is not
spoiled. Never envied
people who are rich in
material things. Easily
annoyed to people. Still
doing it now...

My Sibling
By the blessing of the
Lord, my mother
was given two
children at the
same time. In short
I have a twin sister.
And we are the only
children that my
parents have.

Me and My Sister
• My sister is
always sick
and I am
easily get
infected, so
my mother
decided to
separate us.

Thankfully...
• But,
thankfully. My
grandmother
is not
favourable on
that decision.
So she
decided to let
me live with
my aunt in
the father
Even though I actually live nearby them, side.
we just live in a different houses. (From the left
bottom, my cousins, me and my sister, grandpa and another
cousin; From the top left, my uncle, cousin, aunt, father and
grandma.

The Person Who I Love
• I was raised by my
beloved aunt named
Angelita from the
start until now. She
taught me many
things in life and I
owe her my whole
life. She gave me the
chance to live with
happiness.

With the person who grew up
with me
• This is my cousin,
Edywynne. We live
together since we were
children. Same as my
sister. We are “The Trio”
in the family. We are
like real siblings. Our
closeness is tightly
packed together, I
remembered that we
three used to wrestle.
He taught me how to
fight and stand for my
self. But, I put it the
good time and place.

My Aunties
They are one of the most
important family
members in my life.
The woman in the
middle is my aunt and
she is like my mother
too. Because she took
care of me. And the
one with the white
blouse is like a
mother to me, she
gives her all support
towards us.

My Uncles and Cousin
• Here are my
uncles and
cousin
• They live in
America. And
that is the
reason why I
am not close to
them though.

My Grandparents

Experiences...
I grew up on the side of my father.
I am very close to them
compare to my mother side’s.
Recently this year, my grandma
in my mother side died because
of heart attack. That is the first
time I encountered lose of
loved ones. My grandma in my
father side died when I was
young so I didn’t experience
such events. Thankfully my
grandfathers are still alive and
they still feel our love.

How I was raised...
When I was young, my parents have introduced me a
strict household. They never let me go outside the
house. Locking me inside the house grounds. I only
look at the kids who are having fun outside. But
they gave all there efforts for me to be protected
and that is what I thank for them. Giving me
suffienct needs and provide the things that I need.
They let me know that I should have a boyfriend if I
finished college and be simple as possible.
Well I can’t enumerate it all but that is
what I can remember...

THE START OF MY LIFE
Entering school is the beginning of my
whole self. Where I develop and apply
things in my life.

Schooldays
From the time I was in elementary, I have only
one friend that truly understands me. We
were have the both same type of household.
In short, it is strict. When I started high school,
my parents become authoritarian couple. At
that point, I started to become wild! I mean
not in the wrong way but, I started to make
many friends compare I am on elementary. I
showed them my true nature. But still, I
stayed the simple me.

Love life?
To be honest, I hated when
people having a crush on
me... Especially when they
are becoming suitors. It’s
just that I don’t know how to
apply kindness to reject
them. I don’t want them to
be their loved ones because I
feel I am not worthy for
them and I want them to
have a better woman. I only
stick with my friends than
wasting(?) my time on
flirting. I love my friends!!

Likings...
Well of course, I also have a crush. Having a crush for me is an
inspiration or distraction for sometime. Personally, I am a meanie
when I am talking about my crush. Probably I hated being
infatuated, so I talk dirty to them. Like saying I hate them but for
me. I really hate saying it but it pushes me to avoid the feeling of
liking somebody. That’s why I am called “tsudere”. It could be my
parent’s fault I that I’m like this.
Note: “tsudere” is a Japanese character development process that describes a person who is initially
cold and even hostile towards another person before gradually showing their warm side over time.

My Personality in Present
By nature, I am a shy type of
girl; simple. Pessimistic yet
somehow aggressive some of
the time. Neurotic, serious,
quiet. But when with
comfortable people I am
loud. I am fun loving, to be
honest. I am the type of
person who has weird
thinking. Loving videogames
and animations from Japan.

This paper is the activity
that we did, it is about
“describing” the person
that is written on the
paper.
Well I wasn’t surprised
that they would write
that I am quiet and shy
because that is true. But
once that they would
get be get along with, I
could say I am noisy. I
felt flattered and happy
honestly that someone
would describe me as a
kind person.

My Reaction
I really enjoyed doing this things, I cooked something for myself. To
think that being alone for sometime is quite relaxing. Eating ice
cream, playing videogames and reading comics is really convenient
to gain relaxation. But, I felt awkwardness honestly.

Fortune Teller’s story?
Since I am not allowed to
go on a public places
such as Zapote, I only
checked my fortune at
the internet. It says that
I will be successful. And
it guesses that I am
quiet. I must apply my
courage for me to obtain
my desires.
I could really say that I am
not amazed, it also said that
since I am experiencing
stress and hardships when I
took the fortune telling,
within 2 weeks I would
experience good luck. But
to be honest, I cried
because of stress...

All I want for me to become is be a woman who
can stands for herself and have courage to
face trials. I want to help my family, friends,
and relatives. I hope I could help those
unfortunate. Like helping them even just a
simple ding. I want them to provide home
for them to stay.
Be contended in life; even I am not very rich, as
long as I am enjoying my life to the fullest.
Giving my blessings to everyone and have
good relationship with everyone.
Wishing that I find someone that I could be
forever. And wish that next 10 years that I
am the person that could be the “proud
stuff” in our family. Since I wish for
greediness, I want my family still beside me.

It’s been a decade since I had a role model.
I am gratefully that I have already
discovered my role model.
And that is my Algebra teacher, Sir Rondel
and my Analytic Geometry & Calculus
teacher, Sir Aldrin.
They are both wonderful and inspiring
teachers I met when I was in high school.
My math teacher taught me that it’s okay to
be wrong. Just don’t repeat the same
mistakes; Be yourself. And my AGnC
teacher taught me to be kind, humble and
to give your best on everything.

Hey there woman, I hope you grew into a fine lady right
now... You should be courageous to face trials and handle
things greatly since you are in an independent age. May you
be happy living your life. Give your best shot! I wish you
could actually read this. Stay healthy, be grateful for
what you have. Live your life happy and don’t depend too
much on others. I will give all my strength and
perseverance (really?) now for you to be happy. With this
experiences, I wish you could use them for the better.

Thoughts and Insights
Many years have pass. I realized
that I really changed. Either
good or bad. I have really
improved. Applying the
values I have in the past
really helps me to grow.
Bonding with other people,
gave me knowledge about
life. From that knowledge ,
my life is having a meaning .
The life that they share gave
me experience to move
forward.
For the future, I wanted to
enjoy life. Problems that I
can face . And live with the
people I loved truly.

So that is my story goes. Though is not full
detailed but it shows who I am today.
I hope we could change for the better and
believe that “It’s only a bad day, not a bad life.
There is always someone who cared for you.”.
