- 1. SECOND SUNDAY OF ADVENT (10 -12-2017) NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 1. The Advent ‘campaign against hunger and decease’ envelopes are available near the church entrance gate. You may drop them in the community fund box or box near the altar or handover in the parish office with your complete address and other details. 2. The Made in heaven programme for eligibles looking out for marriage proposals will be held today/tomorrow, 10th December from 10 am to 4.30 pm. Those eligibles registered please note. 3. The December project for ECO KIDS will be sarees to cloth bags project in collaboration with our Suraksha community centre run by sister of Helpers of Mary. Please donate your unused sarees when Eco Kids visit your homes, today/tomorrow, or some other day. Eco Kids animators you may handover the collected sarees directly to sisters of Helpers of Mary or in the parish office. 4. The PYAT and PYC will conduct Taize Prayer Service as part of the monthly prayer service for the month of December on coming Saturday 16th December in the church after the evening mass. Requesting you all to attend this prayer service where we shall pray as one family. 5. The Bible Quest 27 will be held on coming Sunday 17th Dec. Portion is - book of Proverbs chs 1 to 10. PPC members please register online with Fr Felix before coming Wednesday, 13th December. 6. The PYC is organizing 'Carols by Starlight', a carol-singing competition on coming Sunday 17th December after the evening mass in the Church. This event is a community-wise event. Entry forms and rules are given to the SCC coordinators. Kindly contact your SCC coordinator or PPC member to confirm your participation. Last date of entry Wednesday 13th December. We invite all our parishioners to be part of this wonderful evening. 7. The PYC will be organizing Group Dance Competition as part of the Parish Feast Celebrations to be held in January 2018. Entry forms and other details will be made available next Sunday. So get your teams ready for this competition. 8. Communities are requested to bring in their stars latest by Friday 15th December for display in the Church. The theme this year is Family. 9. Limited Copies of the Advent wreath prayer service are kept near the baptismal font. You may pick one for your family prayer. 10. The 2018 parish calendars will be given to you, each family 1 calendar, by your PPC members when you attend this month SCC meetings. 11. Every year we give a Christmas hampers to the needy families of our parish. Sponsors in the form of cash, approximately Rs 800/- per family are welcome. 12. Eco kids animators collect your October month parish contribution before today/tomorrow evening. 13. A short Eucharistic Ministers meeting will be held on coming Sunday, 17th December immediately after the evening mass. Please be there in time. 14. The mass bookings for masses can be done for the next 6 months till June 30th from tomorrow, Monday onwards in the parish office. 15. The Bible Diary for 2018 has come. Contact liturgy stall. The bible diary contains the daily mass readings and reflections, useful for personal and family prayer. Bible diary can be also used as a gift article for any occasion. 16. Details about Jr KG admission form distribution will be announced soon. 17. The parish team and the school managementand staff thank all you parishioners for your support, co- operation and help towards the closing function of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the school.
