- 1. TWENTYSEVENTH SUNDAY OF THE YEAR (8-10-2017) NOTICES FOR THE WEEK 1. Due to mid-term exams, the October Eco Kids meeting will be held on coming Sunday, 15th October on the topic of Green Diwali, and also preparation for ECO QUIZ contest scheduled to be held during Diwali Melava get-together. Eco Kids animators please see further details in the handout given during the last PPC meeting. 2. Coming Sunday, 15th Oct 2017, the booklets prepared by Sunday school children during the Mother Mary novena days will be exhibited outside the church after 8.15am and 9.30am mass. There will be also prize distribution during 8.15 mass for the best booklet from each class, and other children who participated in this project. 3. On October 22nd and 29th there will be no Sunday school due to Diwali vacation. 4. Church in the city is conducting an advance orientation programme on the topics like ZERO GARBAGE and empowermentthrough RTI. This session will be held on coming Thursday, 12th October at Salvation Seva Kendra, Dadar at 7 pm. Some parishioners have already enlisted online. Encouraging many of our parishioners, including youth to attend this informative session. 5. Indoor Games Tournamentfor our parishioners will be held on 21st and 22nd October 2017. Entry forms are available with the PYC members in the Church compound or in the parish office. 6. The vocation service centre is organising a Mission experience to Janakalyan trust, Raigad on 20/21st October. Boys who passed 12th Std and above actively discerning for the priesthood may apply. Registration charges Rs 100/-. For further details see poster on the notice board. 7. Archdiocesan bible committee is organising a biblical drama, dance and miming contest on 21/22nd October. For poster refer to the notice board. Children who want to participate meetBr Jordan. 8. The skills for animators, a 2 day residential programme organised by FILMC team of Bishop Barthol Baretto will be held from 27th October to 29th Oct. at St Pius college, Goregaon. Those members who have enlisted online please meetFr Felix before coming Wednesday, and sign the entry form. The charges Rs 1600/- per head will be sponsored by the parish 9. Those who have collected your souvenir forms for advertisement of our school golden jubilee souvenir, please return the forms with your ad charges and ad matter latest by October end.
