1SURVICE Engineering Company
 Responsible for screening applications, creation and distribution of offer letters, handles all employee
on-site and off-site onboarding, and acts as the liaison between multiple hiring locations across the
country for in-processing of new employees to include collection and maintenance of personnel
documents and setting employees up in all internal and external systems as well as dedicating
specialized attention to various employee retention practices and welfare
 Extremely versed in hiring and onboarding incumbent workforces to include large scale contract
turnovers and quickturnaround hiring efforts as prime contractor and subcontractor needs arise
 Responsible for termination of employees in regards to termination letters and associated exit
paperwork, out-processing and exit interviews, and updating of various systems to reflect
terminations, and coordinating with Payroll Department
 Assists with various recruiting tasks to include searching for qualified candidates,setting up phone
and in-person interviews, conducting detailed reference checks, posting open positions on various
internal and external websites, and setting up access to and maintaining internal resume databases
and interview calendars, preparing for and attending job fairs
 Maintains numerous internal and external databases of highly sensitive personnel information for
recordkeeping, updates, status changes, departmental transfers, compensation adjustments, and
internal changes
 Responsible for implementation, benefit program set up, and maintenance of Costpoint 7 Employee
Module to include the Human Resources/Benefits Module and Deltek Employee Self Service Module
(ESS) as well as the development of COGNOS reports to enable managers the ability to view real
time information of their employees and maintain clear and concise record keeping of all active and
terminated employees and related personnel information
 Handles formulation and distribution of all Human Resources internal memorandums for record,
letters, and formal/informal notifications to employees that span various internal changes,
adjustments, and transfers
 Responsible for complete automation of all personnel documents (new hire paperwork, current
employee paperwork) into secure Sharepoint databases and maintains databases accordingly
 Gathersinformation, organizesdata,and successfullycompletes and submitsgovernment mandated
reports each calendar year to include the following:
o Vets 100, 100 A, and 4212 Reports
o EEO-1 Report
o U.S. Bureau of Labor Current Employment Statistics Report
o State of Maryland Department of Labor Occupational Employment Report
o U.S. Department of Commerce Economic Census
o U.S. Department of Commerce Business Research, Development,and Innovation Survey
 Coordinatesemployee welfare events as head of the Social Committee with event budgets ranging
from $500 - $30,000+
 Supports other Corporate functional areas to include the Business Development Department,
Accounting and Contracts Departments, Legal Department, and Training and Process Department
as needed
 Assists with yearly compilation and presentation of Sensitivity Awareness training in accordance with
business guidelines
 Assists with bi-weekly payroll preparation processing through system maintenance, internal and
external adjustments, and maintaining the master payroll changes spreadsheet that is shared with
the Accounting Department for tracking and notification purposes
 Handles complete set up and maintenance of various accounts affiliated with local tax withholding,
state tax withholding, school district tax withholding, and SDI/SUI through ADP Pay eXpert Portal
 Maintains all current and terminated personnel files, I-9 government verification forms and related
forms of personal identification, and miscellaneous documents through multiple secure online
Sharepoint databases

confirmation documents

 Createsand maintainsallformaljob descriptionsfor currentemployeesin accordance with affirmative
action plan guidelines and structured labor category assignments
 Tracks and properly retains all employee career development plans, introductory performance
reviews, annual performance reviews, training certificates, etc.
 Updates and alters internal Sharepoint website dedicated to all Human Resources secure and
unsecure documents, notifications, announcements, and miscellaneous documents
 Assists with yearly benefit open enrollment paperwork processing, informational meetings and
teleconferences, and inputting of elected benefits into internal and external benefit systems
 Assists with the creation and maintenance of various internal policies and procedures documents
 Handles general day-to-day functions to include frequent interaction with current employees,
managers, prospective candidates, terminated employees, and external inquiries
