I love working with children because they are innocent and sweet. Everyday watching them grow is a precious thing . Children never lies and I love being around them because I get to be who i am . I don’t need to pretend someone else. Teaching children can be tough and I am learning and improve everyday . In my opinion ,teaching is a way where I give away all the knowledge and skills that you learned to another human being to help them become successful in life . Beside teaching children , I also would like to teach adults because I want to see the comparison between two groups .
I never have any experience in the early childhood education field but I had been assigned to teach in a class as an after school teacher for a non-profit group. It was a paid position and it was difficult because I was alone .During the experience , I learned that all children learn and behavior different in their own ways .It takes a lot to be able to deal with a large group of kids from all the background and ethnicity .There is a big different for being a tutor and a teacher . Both roles plays similar duties but different environment . A tutor is someone who is working one on one with a student unlike a teacher is someone who is working with a large group of student . Looking back , I definitely want to do more of that so I can gain more experience . Now , I feel like I need more time to feel more comfortable to be a class setting environment . Without teachers the kids wouldn’t learn how to survive in the world. I love seeing their eyes light up when they finally understand something that you have taught them and knowing that what you are teaching them is going to help them in their future. I want to be a teacher because I love helping people and what is a better way to help people than to help them learn as a child what they will need to know for the rest of their lives.
