- 5. How to Add an Animation 1. Click on an image, clip art or text box to select it. 2. Click on the ANIMATION tab. 3. Click on the animation effects you want. The effects will happen in the same order you choose them. 4. You can also use the EFFECT OPTIONS or the ADD ANIMATION buttons. 5. Click PREVIEW at the upper left to see how the effects look.
- 6. How to Add a Transition Effect 1. Click on the TRANSITIONS tab. 2. Click on the transition effect you want. It works on the slide, so you can only pick one effect. 3. You can add a sound effect that plays when the slide appears. At the upper right, click on No Sound and you will see a drop down menu. Pick a sound effect.
- 7. How to Add a Sound Recording 1. Plug in the school headphone/mic (pink to the left, green to the right). 2. Click on the INSERT tab. 3. Click on the arrow below the AUDIO button & choose Record Audio. 4. Name your audio file, then click the red button on the popup bar to record. Click the blue circle to stop recording. You should see a speaker icon on your slide.
